Dolcetto d’Alba DOC

The Dolcetto d’Alba DOC is a classic wine of the Langhe Valley that can be found at all social occasions, it accompanies beautifully not only the famous antipasti such as the Albesi Raw Meat but also fresh pasta dishes, meat main courses, Piedmontese cheeses or local specialties like the “Bagna Cauda” or “Fritto Misto” but first and foremost is the wine that should be served when good friends get together.

The wine is made from its namesake vine grown in shallow, calcareous soil rich in Marl, east facing at an altitude of 400 meters in the counties of Trezzo Tinella and Treiso, in the north Italy.

The vineyard is managed with a environmentally friendly system, while the grapes are harvested by hand to maximize the characteristics of the land and the grape itself.

Fermentation in stainless steel and partial aging in small oak barrels give the wine a decisive and pleasurable personality which presents itself in its luscious ruby color, rich perfume of ripe red fruits and a hint of liquorice with velvety taste pleasantly tannic and sweet.
