Our mission

Our family is always been working the land.

Until the previous generation it was the classic multi-purpose and self-sufficient farm, with the land divided equally among vineyards, orchards fruit (peach and hazelnut), fields and meadows for feeding cattle and sheeps.

Since the 80’s the Langa also participates in the process of modernization and our hills undergo a profound metamorphosis that brings in the short span of time at a high specialization in the negative sense wine , so today we can admire landscapes full of vineyards , and Langa is the same now divided on the basis of the wine or vine prevalent : we have so the Langa of Barolo, Barbaresco, Muscat and so on.

We are lucky to be on a hinge that connects the Langa of the Barbaresco to Moscato one and the high Langa, where the vineyards are less frequent with increasing altitude, giving way to hazelnut trees, fields of wheat and sporadically in corn, meadows and woods still used for firewood, so the landscape gains enormously.

We are 4 brothers who cultivate the vineyards and we have started making wine from our grapes, with the intent to produce wines of out area, local products, with modern techniques (derived from modern knowledge ) but with an eye to tradition (to take the good that knowledge of our old handed down to us).

Our principles and ideals of wine makers: the earth is our source of life and also of income, so you need to respect it. We must follow the cycles and along with them, we have to defend the production, but in a sustainable way. We adhere strongly to the measure of F1 PSR (ex 2078 ) for agri-environment , and we often impose constraints even more restrictive , even if you do not believe in organic viticulture, we intervene only in situations of real danger, and we are willing to suffer losses of production, but not in quality (here the chemistry does not work miracles , for which the botrytis is controlled by stripping and balanced fertilization).

We strongly believe in the balance of the vines to get a good and healthy raw material , which we use for organo-mineral fertilizers , and when we can , cow manure from farms trusted ; during the summer season usually use foliar supplements to prevent deficiencies and to standardize certain the vineyards .

The times of shortage are widely respected, so we are sure you have no pesticide residues in wine.
