The winery

Il Bosseto Winery holds the story of a family with Piedmontese origins, who with dedication gain their livelihood and their strength through their dedication to and passion for their vines and grapes.

The family have farmed their land with the same vocation as their grandfather who bought the estate in 1930 for Giovanni, his oldest son who in turn moved there from his home town a few kilometers away to Trezzo Tinella, in the heart of the Langhe region, close to Alba.

The lower Langhe is one of the world’s most famous wine growing areas.

The zone is subdivided and identified by the vines or the predominate wine thus we have the Dogliani Langhe, close to the alps, that of the Barolo, that of the Barbaresco south east of the town of Alba, and finally the Moscato regions each with a unique and recognizable landscape as is the wines they produce.

Il Bosseto is strategically placed at the meeting point of three zones.

The vines are at an average of 450 meters above sea level facing from east (for the morning sun) to west (for the afternoon sun) with a frontal view of the magnificent Monviso.
